am I the “CEO” of my company?
This is a strange question but i’m just interested what I should call myself. I own an internet radio station and a new music blog I have a few people who work for me (for free) and do make money. I’m only 15 so can I call myself the CEO or is that term only for big businesses? haha Thank you
You can call yourself whatever you want, but the term CEO usually applies when the company is a legal corporation and issues stock, has a board of directors, a president, vp and treasurer. You can call yourself ‘president’ or ‘owner’.
In my company, I call myself an executive director, because when I’m negotiating deals, I don’t want people to think I have ultimate say. This buys me time to think over options.
